A life they’ve made a point of remembering
Jake and Kendra have always made a point of documenting their life together, from ordinary days to the adventures they share. Jake is a filmmaker himself, which made being trusted with their wedding film especially meaningful to me.
At Tin Roof Event Centre in Lacombe County, their wedding brought two families together. Kendra’s first look with her dad, their vows and a bouquet dedication to her mother gave the day its personal meaning. The speeches added stories of Kendra’s kindness, Jake’s way of bringing people together and the relationship they have built.
As the dance floor filled, they kept finding each other. I wanted their film to hold both sides of the day: the words they’ll want to hear again and the celebration with the people who were there for them.
